A few posts back, I went through a long discussion with lots of math of how to get the lines in the lace base to align perfectly. For this set of earrings, I followed the procedure and got everything to line up just the way I wanted (even though it was a bit of a pain).
I am pleased to report that it really doesn’t make much difference in the finished product except to make it slightly more dense because the diagonal lines are closer together.
I tried increasing the distance between the lines but ended up with many jump stitches because the general shape is so lumpy. I may revisit this in the future, but for now I don’t think it’s worth spending time on.
On another note, if anyone knows where I put an entire bolt of WSS I wish you’d tell me.
